We’re lucky to be a part of an amazing community and are always excited to grow it!

We’re beyond grateful for the partners, collaborators, advocates, advisers, and financial supporters that allow the UW Organic Collaborative to continue growing our organic research, outreach, and educational programming.

At UW, all of our work is driven by the Wisconsin Idea, the principle that our work should influence people’s lives beyond the boundaries of the classroom. It also champions partnership in its many forms. We depend on those partnerships, not only to keep knocking our current work out of the park, but to keep innovating and growing our vision for an organic Wisconsin, and Upper Midwest. Read on to learn more about all of the ways that we’re excited to work with you.

Work with us

There are countless ways to partner with us, from collaborative research to advisory roles to in-kind contributions of land or equipment and beyond. You might be an organization interested in co-building a research or outreach program, a farmer wanting to engage in organic field research, a company looking for interns or future employees trained in organic ag, or an expert interested in sharing your knowledge. If you have an idea, a passion, or just want to explore what working together might look like, get in touch. We believe that our work is a collective movement that needs a diverse and engaged constellation of people and groups both inside and outside of the University.

Financial Support

Gifts to the UW Organic Collaborative Fund support our ongoing research, outreach, and education, all in service to a vibrant, resilient, and long-lasting organic community. Funds also allow us to pursue innovations and address emerging needs more nimbly.

Please consider supporting our collaborative through a tax-deductible donation to the ORGANIC AGRICULTURE FUND at the UW Foundation. Gifts of any amount ensure a future home for all things organic at UW – an engine for positive impact throughout the organic industry, from the organic farmers at the headwaters of the supply chain to the millions of eaters in our communities.

If you’re interested in supporting specific research, individuals or entities can either support current projects or fund the collaborative design and implementation of new research programs throughout the University. Please get in touch to learn more about what sponsored research might look like for you: EMSILVA@WISC.EDU

For general questions regarding gifts or to explore additional opportunities, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Managing Director of development, Annie Engebretson at ANDREA.ENGEBRETSON@SUPPORTUW.ORG.
